We are really keen on being open about the work we do, and in this respect our roadmap – that is, the features to be developed – is a key element for us. Our roadmap for version 1.4.1 is presented here:

  1. Extended Project overview with sorting capabilities
  2. Possibility of adding events under Daily schedule
  3. Status messages
  4. Integration of Google Maps
  5. Invoiced time tracking
  6. Extension of the Time tracking report
  7. Mail notifications
  8. System preferences
  9. New add box for Planning
  10. Addition of contacts to events under Planning
  11. To-do lists
  12. Possibility of writing messages to and from clients under Client login
  13. Possibility of adding custom client and contact fields
  14. Possibility of adding custom fields groups for client and contact fields
  15. Possibility of changing the shown data per page in the lists in the system
  16. Group mails in relation to client and contact groups should be based on distribution lists
  17. Change of Daily schedule to Calender, access to daily, weekly and monthy views
  18. Ticket handling
  19. New login box

As we go along, we will line-through each element in the list. And if you have suggestions, you are more than welcome to contact us. Just type in a comment or send us an e-mail.

» Why is it named Meeho!™?

Posted by Kasper Tidemann on 9/27 2009 at 12:50 AM

Every once in a while, people ask me why it is named Meeho!™ and I do understand the question: it is not the most common of names, so to speak. But why did we choose that exact name?

Here at Meeho!™, we always try our best to communicate in an honest and understandable way. For this very same reason, we are not all too keen on names such as Document File Handling Platform 2010 or Enterprise Resource Allocation Management Server 64-bit – we have experienced names of such length and complexity to distance themselves from the users that they are originally intended for.

One of the biggest seals of approvement is the fact that a name is used in the everyday speech of people. No one would say:

“yes, I’ve just uploaded that file to Enterprise Resource Allocation Management Server 64-bit”,

… but everybody can say:

“yes, I’ve just uploaded that file to Meeho!™”.

It is really that simple. We made up the name Meeho!™ ourselves, and we chose that exact name because of the above point: it is a personal, friendly and non-technical name. Your best friend could not possibly be named Enterprise Resource Allocation Management Server 64-bit, but he or she could indeed be named Meeho!™.

» Meeho!™ + Google Maps

Google is our skilled big brother who invents a lot of exciting products that help millions of people every single day – a good example is Google Maps. Therefore, we have integrated Google Maps in Meeho!™, making it possible to view the geographical location of the clients in the system. It looks like this:

» Apple is not completely in lack of humour…

… A statement that is proved by the following screenshot of a PC shown in Network on Mac OS X. Take note of what’s displayed on the monitor:

Apart from that, Windows 7 looks to be a great product. It will be exciting to follow and let’s hope that it will turn out much, much better than Vista did.
